Stone Enigma can be a dead draw in a lot of matches, but it's great against Decay even when you run only 1. The reason is Decay will often deny you ramp from Echomatons, so you will have a hard time reaching 8 resources, and of course if you can deny them extra draw that is huge. They waste a whole turn playing Halls of Oum Lasa just for you to ramp off of it. So never sac it against Decay. MER is quite vulnerable to Decay these days so I feel 1 copy of Stone Enigma is justified.


I am not a huge fan of Violent Dispersal, but it is the most reliable removal for Ilmire Witch Doctor. Storm Runner + Machinated is definitely the better play, but it requires you to have all the pieces for the combo.
